Dinner was really good. Had the house special steaks. Sauteed mushrooms were yummy! Ambiance could be improved upon. Good service from the friendly staff.
Stopped here for dinner after a weekend in Yosemite. Our guide from Teneya Lodge recommended this place as a great restaurant in Oakhurst. Glad he did. The service and food were great. Split the prime rib dinner with the wife. Paid the extra split fee which included and extra side and soup, very reasonable. The beef barley soup was to die for and the prime rib was cooked to perfection. Baked potato came fully loaded. Hummingbirds feeding on the patio made for a great way to end a fabulous weekend.
The food was ok. Was waaaaaay over priced for what they serve. I got the fish and chips, the menu didn't say what type of fish and it definitely tasted like bad, muddy cat fish. A single glass of milk (8oz) cost $4.00. THAT IS MORE THAN WHAT A GALLON COSTS AT THE GROCERY STORE!!!! Everything was overly oily. Save your wallet and your gastrointestinal system. Go somewhere else.
This is a very outdated place. The staff needs more training. It was a very depressed atmosphere. We didn't eat here. Just a beer and left.
The staff was great but the food average for the price.
