Loved this restaurant! The food was amazing (try the rack of lamb, so delicious) and the service was great. It was so nice to stop in after several days of long hikes in Yosemite for some really great food and drinks.
That was one tasty burger! This place hit the spot after a long day hiking in Yosemite. Friendly service and a great beer selection. Highly recommend if you're looking for a menu featuring good American food and hearty portions.
I make sure to stop by 1850 every time I get out to Yosemite. After a long day of hiking and eating trail food, a good meal is necessary!! On my first trip to Yosemite a few years ago, we came here two nights in a row because it was so good. I've tried something different each time and have never been disappointed. Great burgers, salads, beer... The first trip we had some awesome shrimp & grits--I was disappointed not to see them on the menu the last few times I've been but can't complain too much because everything is excellent!
A very nice place with Great customer service. Sit inside or outside, we chose to sit out. The Finney fries were excellent except for the fat-filled chunks of steak that are included in it. The half plate is plenty. The tri-tip was way over cooked and dry. This was a little disappointing, due to their hand cut steak claim, I thought they might prepare meat better... At least without chunks of fat and gristle. Green beans were cooked and seasoned appropriately, but the rice lacked any flavor other than the carrot in it. Overall it was okay but I personally would definitely try another restaurant in town before I would go back there again. Individual experiences may very so don't rule them out completely.
A beautifully random Little Gym on your way to Yosemite. If you blink you'll miss it but I hope you don't because the steak is delicious. I'm pretty sure they mostly sell local craft beers as well which is another wonderful thing
